摘要: A retrospective analysis was done in 62 patients with 101 digits having extensor tendon injury. Quality of outcome and parameters that might influence were evaluated. The majority treated conventional static splinting. Sixty percent all fingers sustained an associated injury (fracture, dislocation, joint capsule or flexor damage). Patients without injuries achieved 64% good/excellent results, total active motion 212 degrees. This difference statistically significant (p less than 0.05). Distal zones (1 to 4) had a significantly poorer result more proximal (5 8). percentage losing flexion greater the extension. In addition, average degree loss would seem indicate may be complication from previously thought.
