摘要: This work describes the Cainozoic larger foraminifers from Dominican Republic and discuses their biostratigraphic application to construction of a lithostratigraphic framework. We have differentiated following associations: a. Ranikothalia bermudezi Neodiscocyclina grimsdalei, which characterizes Late Paleocene (Thanetian). b. Eoconuloides wellsi, lopeztrigoi barkeri Early Eocene reworked in Middle strata. c. Coleiconus elongatus, Fallotella cookei, Cushmania puilboreauensis, americana, Fabiania cassis, lopeztrigoi, Amphistegina parvula, Discocyclina marginata, Polylepidina antillea Penoperculinoides cubensis, that d. Lepidocyclina (Lepidocyclina) macdonaldi, (Nephrolepidina) cf. chaperi, (Pliolepidina) peruviana Nummulites willcoxi, Middle-Late interval. e. panamensis, Heterostegina antillea, mantelli, canellei, (Eulepidina) undosa tournoueri, characteristic Oligocene middle shelf environments. f. Archiasinids, Praerhapydionina delicata Discorinopsis sp., shallow carbonate shelves. g. Miogypsina Miarchaias floridanus indicates an Early-Middle Miocene age. h. floridanus, Miosorites americanus, Annulosorites spiralis Operculinoides bullbrooki, Early-Late Miocene.
