摘要: Many scholars have investigated the attitudes, beliefs, motives, and behavior of male clients female sex workers. However, few examined individual differences in major dimensions personality expressed by men who purchase prostitution compared to those do not. Although several evolutionary psychologists studied involved work, our knowledge, none explicitly considered utility an perspective trying understand why particular pay for sex. In current mini-review, following other researchers, is described principally as a form short-term mating sought primarily men. We argue that socially aversive traits embodying Dark Tetrad (narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, sadism) may characterize certain workers, particularly consumers expressing motives desiring exciting novel with women are treated contempt, perceiving business-like manner little emotional involvement, seeking dominate control workers viewed vulnerable subservient. The tetrad also be more prevalent among from outdoor (e.g., street prostitution) comparison indoor settings escort agencies).
