摘要: In Alzheimer's disease (AD), a variety of populations neurons exhibits cytoskeletal abnormalities, including neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) in perikarya, Hirano bodies dendrites and filament-distended axons/terminals/dendrites (neurites) senile plaques. Some nerve cells, particularly pyramidal the hippocampus, also develop (paracrystalline arrays actin) granulovacuolar degeneration (GVD; granular inclusions cytoplasmic vacuoles). Since abnormalities elements have been implicated formation NFT, neurites bodies, present study was designed to determine whether GVD may represent type pathology. Sections hippocampus from controls individuals with AD were stained by immunocytochemical methods using monoclonal polyclonal antibodies directed against antigens. Granules contained tubulin-like immunoreactivity absorption purified tubulin abolished staining. Other antigens not demonstrated granules when other used. The observation sequestration is consistent concept that neuronal cytoskeleton are an important part cellular pathology AD.
