摘要: Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the most common cause of irreversible visual impairment in older populations industrialized nations. AMD a late-onset deterioration photoreceptors and retinal pigment epithelium central retina caused by various environmental genetic factors. Great strides our understanding pathogenesis have been made past several decades, which translated into revolutionary therapeutic agents recent years. In this review, we describe clinical pathologic features present an overview current diagnosis treatment strategies.
