摘要: Three types of aldolase-catalyzed reactions which are promising for C bond formation, not only the practical synthesis carbohydrates but also in active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing, were introduced. The authors focused on use three nonphosphorylated nucleophiles: pyruvic acid, acetaldehyde, and dihydroxyacetone. Furthermore, nitroaldol reaction catalyzed by hydroxynitrile lyase (HNL) is noted as an example catalysis caused promiscuous ability enzymes. All following aspects involving screening new enzymes, characterization, substrate specificity study, synthetic application, protein engineering very important developing improved biocatalytic processes.
