摘要: The esterification of acetic acid with ethyl alcohol catalysed by an acidic ion-exchange resin (Amberlyst-15) was carried out in a batch reactor at temperatures between 323 and 353 K various starting compositions ranging from stoichiometric regime to the dilute regions. resultant kinetic model fitted experimental data well. activation energy found be 104129 kJ.kmol-1 for formation acetate. acetate production also packed bed reactive distillation column operated continuous modes. effects variables such as reflux ratio, vapour rate feed flow on were studied experimentally. A mode gave highest composition, far surpassing chemical equilibrium operating conditions.
