摘要: Abstract Background To explore whether poor initial insight during a first episode of mania with psychotic features was predictive psychosocial and clinical outcomes at 18 months. Methods Secondary analysis performed on data collected an 8-week RCT comparing the efficacy olanzapine versus chlorpromazine as adjunct to lithium, 18-month follow-up. 74 participants were divided into three groups (no insight, partial full insight) according item from Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS). Differences between these examined baseline months measures symptoms (YMRS, HAMD-21, CGI-S), social occupational functioning (SOFAS). Baseline differences determined using general linear models chi-squared analyses. Group follow-up repeated models.
