摘要: Active and passive sampling methods were employed over a four-month period, at site off the South-West coast of Ireland, to characterise occurrence cyclic imines in water column. The marine toxins 13-desmethyl-SPXC, 20-methyl SPXG pinnatoxin G detected using active from Diaion HP-20 resin. Seven depths sampled determine stratification column Solid Phase Adsorption Toxin Tracking (SPATT). Both 13-desmethyl-SPXC two different resin types; Amberlite XAD761. proved more effective accumulating toxins, with higher percentage positive samples ratio toxin adsorbed relative No temporal variation toxin-quantities was detected, indicating that there no change density causative algal species Pinnatoxin frequently surface 30 m depth, similar pattern observed for difference between This is first reported incidence Irish waters highlights as emerging European waters.
