摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter presents the control of formation mesoporous SBA-3 and SBA-1 through organic additives. The synthesis kinetics molecular sieve is greatly affected by addition trimethylbenzene (TMB) isomers. performed at 0°C using tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as silicon source cetyltriethylammonium bromide (CTEABr) template under acidic conditions. X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that a well-ordered hexagonal p6mm mesophase rapidly forms then transforms to cubic Pm3n with proper TMB/CTEABr molar ratios. presence 1,2,3-TMB most favored form mesophase, 1,2,4- TMB showed an intermediate behavior.
