摘要: We studied the clinical and histopathologic features of 165 basal cell carcinomas eyelids classified tumors into four types (nodular, ulcerative, morphea, multicentric) that differ in incidence, results incomplete excision, aggressiveness, recurrence. The value frozen-section monitoring surgical margins was evident. In 39 cases excised with by frozen sections, there were no recurrences. 126 treated excisional biopsy without monitoring, 34 (26.9%) incompletely seven (5.5%) recurred. treatment carcinoma should always include use margins. This is especially important multicentric, ulcerative types, which invasive extent tumor often not apparent clinically. These forms are also more aggressive.
