摘要: Citrus peel (CP) is used as a traditional herb with diverse beneficial pharmacological activities, such anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-allergic effects. However, the anti-obesity effects of citrus are poorly defined. The aim this study was to evaluate ethanol extracts (EECP) for its adipocyte differentiation adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. an EECP Treatment significantly suppressed terminal preadipocytes dose-dependent manner, confirmed by decrease lipid droplet number content accumulation cellular triglyceride. exhibited potential inhibition downregulated expression pro-adipogenic transcription factors, sterol regulatory elementbinding protein-1c (SREBP-1c), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ), CCAAT/enhancerbinding proteins α (C/EBPα) C/EBPβ, expressed genes, fatty acid binding protein (aP2) Leptin. In addition, treatment effectively activated AMP-activated kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway; however, compound C, specific inhibitor AMPK, reduced EECP-induced adipogenesis. Taken together, these results indicate showed strong through AMPK pathway, further studies will be needed identify active compounds that confer activity EECP.
