摘要: QTLs for insect resistance parameters, trichome type IV development, and more than 200 non-volatile metabolites, including 76 acyl sugars, all co-locate at the end of Chromosome 2 Solanum galapagense. Host plant is gaining importance as insecticides are being banned due to environmental concerns. In tomato, towards insects found in wild relatives has been attributed presence glandular trichomes their specific phytochemical composition. this paper, we describe results from a large-scale QTL mapping data whitefly tests, phenotyping comprehensive metabolomics analysis recombinant inbred line population derived cross between cultivated lycopersicum relative S. galapagense, which resistant range pest insects. One major (Wf-1) was govern against two different species. This co-localizes with V, well sugars detected about 150 other phytochemicals, methyl esters flavonols myricetin quercetin. Based on these results, hypothesize that Wf-1 regulating formation leaf epidermis, enabling production accumulation bioactive metabolites trichomes.
