摘要: This study assessed the developmental profile of unisensory and multisensory processes, their contribution to children's intellectual abilities (8- 11-year olds, N = 38, compared adults, N = 19) using a simple audiovisual detection task three incidental associative learning tasks with different sensory signals: visual-verbal pseudowords, novel audiovisual, visual-visual. The level immaturity throughout childhood was dependent on both, signal type task. Associative significantly enhanced verbal sounds, visual learning. Visual-verbal also best predictor general abilities. results demonstrate separate trajectory for processes independent contributions development cognitive childhood.
