摘要: Following the Cambrian Explosion and appearance in fossil record of most animal phyla associated with a range new body plans, Ordovician Silurian periods witnessed three subsequent major biotic events: Great Biodiversification Event, end-Ordovician extinction (the first extinction second largest five mass extinctions Phanerozoic), Early postextinction recovery. There are currently no simple explanations for these events. Combined extrinsic (geological) intrinsic (biological) factors probably drove biodiversifications radiations, and disappearance marine habitats have to be analysed frame changing palaeogeography, palaeoclimate sea-water chemistry. The present paper reviews relationships three events chemical physical processes occurring ocean atmosphere during Ordovician Silurian, including sea-level changes, geochemical proxies (δ13C, δ18O, 87Sr/86Sr) waters, evolution (oxygen carbon dioxide content).
