摘要: The central question in this report is whether and how policy interventions intended to promote intercultural contacts contribute the social cohesion a multicultural society. research questions are: How diverse are networks of participants outside project? What motivates them engage with ‘other’? do they experience actual encounters? And what impact did encounters have on participants’ perceptions ‘other’ themselves? For qualitative case study conducted at ‘Welkom Rotterdam’ project. focuses both ‘old’ (i.e. indigenous) as well ‘new’ immigrant) Rotterdam residents.
