摘要: In this study we analyzed the inter-specific relationships in assemblages of syrphids at a site northern Italy order to determine whether there are patterns diurnal co-occurrence. We adopted null model approach and calculated two co-occurrence metrics, C-score variance ratio (V-ratio), both for total catch morning (8:00-13:00) afternoon (13:00-18:00) catches separately, males females. recorded discordant species richness, abundance samples collected. Higher richness were morning, when assemblage had an aggregated structure, which agrees with previous findings on communities invertebrate primary consumers. A segregated pattern was afternoon, fewer individuals The is likely be caused by number factors, such as greater availability food prevalence hot dry conditions early unfavourable hoverflies, possibly competition other pollinators. Our results indicate that restricting community studies particular time day will result certain and/or interactions not being recorded.
