Thermodynamic properties of ternary mixtures containing water, 2-ethoxyethanol, and t-butanol at 298.15 K

摘要: Ultrasonic speeds and isentropic compressibilities were measured at 298.15 K in the water-rich region of aqueous solutions water + 2-ethoxyethanol (2EE) t-butanol. The excess properties ultrasonic speed compressibility also calculated have been discussed terms molecular interactions. concentrations t-butanol which becomes maximum minimum are found to decrease with increase concentration 2EE cosolvent (aqueous 2EE). This behavior indicates that ternary less structured than is explained as due a ability form clathrate hydrates owing presence 2EE. When (x2EE) > 0.14, decreases increases indicating solution behaves normal wherein any further addition or leads destabilization hydrogen bonded structure looses its solutions.
