摘要: Biomedical domain ontologies could be better put to use for automatic semantic linguistic processing if we map them lexical resources that model the phenomena encountered in this domain, e.g., complex noun phrase structures reference specific biological entity names and processes. In paper, introduce BioFrameNet – a domain-specific FrameNet extension. uses Frame semantics express meaning of natural language, is augmented with relations, links biomedical like Gene Ontology all which are expressed Description Logic (DL) variant OWL. Thus, annotations natural-language text precisely ontologies, turn facilitates inference using DL reasoners.
