摘要: Removal of phthalate esters from water has been considerable concern recently. In the present study, adsorptive removal performance diethyl (DEP) was investigated with aminated polystyrene resin (NDA-101) and oxidized (NDA-702). addition, commercial homogeneous (XAD-4) acrylic ester (Amberlite XAD-7) as well coal-based granular activated carbon (AC-750) were chosen for comparison. The corresponding equilibrium isotherms are described by Freundlich equation adsorption capacities DEP followed order NDA-702 > NDA-101 AC-750 XAD-4 XAD-7. Analysis mechanisms suggested that these adsorbents spontaneously adsorb molecules driven mainly enthalpy change, process derived multiple adsorbent–adsorbate interactions such hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, micropore filling. information related to adsorbent surface heterogeneity adsorbate–adsorbate interaction obtained Do's model. All results indicate heterogeneous resins have excellent potential an material contaminated water.
