摘要: The Fifth International Symposium on Graft-versus-Host and Graft-versus-Leukemia Reactions was held 21 22 March 2002 in the University Hospital (Klinikum Grosshadern) of Munich. As previous years, it dedicated to encounter scientists clinicians involved hematopoietic cell transplantation. This year's symposium focused characterization stem cells potentially expanding use gene therapy. immunology section dealt with mechanisms tolerance, minor histocompatibility antigens presented by major molecules. Further important topics were cytokines dendritic cells. In 1½ days intense work, invited speakers, chairmen, authors an active audience experienced exciting exchange ideas collaboration.
