摘要: Harvesting very small trees one by has always been comparatively unproductive. Multiple-tree handling creates opportunities to reduce time per tree and thereby make it profitable harvest instead of thinning waste. Multiple tree-handling is achieved felling more than in cut or accumulating on the head, several during crane cycle. The effect depends how much faster each additional can be felled (positioning head cutting off) compared with previous (per tree) saved when moving crane-in (bunching). Felling reduces substantially, but often limited relevance due spacing between trees. Field studies showed significantly lower consumption smaller sizes. Reduction for work was approximately 40 % smallest The difference decreased as size increased. Time first "crane tree" a little higher following movements cut. "crane-in" only slightly increased number head. required fell two not different single tree, giving substantial reduction tree.
