Brogan once said (he is surely one who does not merit reproach): “Because we have studied only France, understood even France.” The second remark might apply United States, too. There has been talk value comparative study labor movements, but comparatively little application methods history. A comparison history in unions France States may therefore throw a more light on “national genius” each country as well die behavior movement.
