摘要: Twins have aroused the curiosity of man throughout history. In modern times twin research has become a special branch human genetics and greatly contributed to our knowledge earliest stage prenatal development. Another aspect is distinction between inherited acquired traits. Of particular value are observations in monozygotic (true, singleegg) twins, who originate from one chorion single placenta. They always same sex belong blood group; their over-all resemblance very close, popularly they known as identical twins. Twin ophthalmology assumed considerable proportions.
