摘要: For applications involving data transmission from multiple sources, an important problem is: when the sources use paths, how to maximize aggregate sending rate of using application-layer techniques via TCP? We solve this in context overlay network by allowing a source send over k (k ≥ 1) paths its destination. Our goal is select for each and control on path TCP sources. prove that optimal selection NP-hard develop two practical applicationlevel multipath controllers TCP. performance evaluation demonstrate very simple path-selection ratecontrol algorithms perform reasonably well wide range settings. Furthermore, small number amount extra bandwidth are sufficient realize most gains.
