摘要: Abstract Spiral welded stainless steel tubes are produced by helical welding of a continuous strip. Recently, spiral have found increasing application in the construction industry due to their ease fabrication and aesthetic appeal. However, an in-depth understanding behaviour these types structural elements is still needed insufficient experimental evidence lack rational design guidance. In present paper, extensive program was carried out investigate axially loaded hollow concrete-filled tubes. The effects various parameters were investigated throughout test program. addition experiments, this paper presents finite element model for prediction columns. Specifically, proposed models take into account material geometric nonlinearities. modelled as independent part that further tied tube. Moreover, initial imperfections tube residual stresses resulting from included. Enhancement results can be achieved extending parametric studies based on developed model. Furthermore, comparison ultimate strength between those obtained existing codes practice conducted.
