摘要: Quantity and quality of soil organic matter (SOM) affect physical, chemical, biological properties, are pivotal to productive healthy grasslands. Thus, we analyzed the distribution aggregates assessed quality, quantity, SOM in two unimproved improved (two conventional) grasslands subarctic Iceland, Haplic Histic Andosols. We also evaluated principal physicochemical which influence aggregation dynamics. Macroaggregates (>250 µm) topsoils were most prominent (62–77%) organically (58–69%) managed sites, whereas 20–250 µm conventionally sites (51–53%). Macroaggregate stability topsoils, measured as mean weight diameter, was approximately twice high (12–20 mm) compared with (5–8 possibly due higher inputs (e.g., manure, compost, cattle urine)...
