Evaluation of Genetic Diversity in Faba bean (Vicia faba L.) Genotypes using Seed Protein and Isozymes Electrophoresis

摘要: Legumes are an important source of proteins and minerals in human animal nutrition. Characterization the genetic variation any germplasm is prerequisite for its further improvement. In present study, among ten different genotypes faba bean collected from agro-climatic zones Bihar, analysed using electrophoretic data total seed storage proteins, globulins albumins along with Vikrant as reference variety this pulse crop. Attempt was also made to establish diversity these germplasms on basis their expression two reactive oxygen species scavenging isoenzymes viz. superoxide dismutase catalase. Electropherogram protein, albumin globulin shows considerable level polymorphic bands were observed. Random selection 100 weight also. Negative correlation between content observed both however positive concentration. The similarity coefficient all 10 including has been studied. Zymogram showed no but catalase polymorphism.
