摘要: An optimal match for size and shape between the donor femur host knee is considered a critical factor influencing outcome of allograft implantation. in vitro model was developed to determine influence position lateral distal femoral condylar on kinematics. Functional motion simulated cadaver intact state after removing reimplanting native condyle serially replacing with eight allografts. Each first tested an subsequently shifted 3 mm proximal joint line quantify changes kinematics due allograft. The ideally implanted followed similar kinematic trends. Decreasing width increased valgus orientation at full flexion, translated tibia posteriorly extension, externally rotated throughout flexion. shift mid-flexion, had opposite effect shift. These results indicate that improving techniques preoperative size-matching intraoperative placement may help reduce biomechanical complications following implantation
