摘要: Handover performance is very important when evaluating IP mobility protocols. If not performed efficiently, handover delays, jitters, and packet loss directly impact application performance. We propose a new architecture for providing efficient handover, while being able to coexist with other paradigm multicast-based micromobility (M&M), where visiting mobile assigned multicast address use moving within domain. The obtained using algorithmic mapping, achieved join/prune mechanisms. This paper outlines framework the design evaluation of define suite protocols (called candidate access router set) enable multiple-access routers receive traffic node. By changing number such routers, timing, buffering parameters, protocol may be fine-tuned specific technologies (e.g., 802.11) scenarios. Extensive NS-2 simulations are used compare M&M schemes-cellular Internet (CIP) handoff-aware wireless infrastructure (HAWAII). For proactive scenarios, our results show that CIP lower delay reordering than HAWAII. M&M, however, handles multiple border in domain, fails. Also, scenarios reactive coverage gaps clearly outperforms
