摘要: SUMMARY Somatic cell nuclei undergo, beside presumably reversible changes, irreversible changes in the course of embryonic development. These latter limit developmental potentiality somatic and may be cytologically visible, as certain insects, or recognized by their incapacity to promote normal development after nuclear transplantation, frogs. By contrast, germ-cells do not normally lose because an active protection afforded germ-plasm, which is a cytoplasmic constituent egg rich RNA mitochondria. The protective nature germ-plasm destroyed irradiation with ultraviolet light.
