摘要: Maleated polyolefins (MaPOs) such as maleated ethylene propylene copolymers or polyisobutylene terminated at one end with a succininic anhydride can be used polymeric dispersants in engine oils after reaction polyamines while unmodified EP improve the viscosity index of oils. MaPOs also labeled pyrene derivatives to generate pyrene-labeled (PyLPOs) fluorescent mimics oil additives and excimer fluorescence (PEF) applied probe their behavior solution. This review describes new methodology that was recently implemented characterize complex signal emitted by PyLPOs using steady-state time-resolved fluorescence. enables gain quantitative information about level clustering succinic pendants along intra- intermolecular aggregation Such is relevant scientists aiming oil. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
