摘要: A process for producing alkyl group-substituted aromatic hydrocarbons, which comprises reacting an hydrocarbon (i) with alkylating agent (ii) selected from the group consisting of olefin, aliphatic lower alcohol, and a halide in presence mordenite zeolite catalyst treated fluorine-containing compound. This enables raising conversion compound introducing specific number groups into positions When biphenyl propylene are used as agent, respectively, p,p'-diisopropylbiphenyl can be obtained high yield selectivity.
