摘要: There has been an emergence of various ontologies describing data from either clinical or biological domains. Associated with this the development integration systems, attempting to combine such biomedical using strategies overcome issues scope and differing levels granularity. However, ontology based systems still find little use in distributed computing environments. This is attributed both lack knowledge about user needs for absence a general framework assess their relative suitability specific applications. paper aims bridge gap by proposing reference framework. The draws on existing information evaluation approaches relating objectives characteristics. suggests that bridges emphasizing dynamics environment. therefore includes feedbacks process characteristics integrated systems. was validated study structured interviews survey. results indicate sufficiently flexible evaluating taking into account conflicting different users interested accessing complex libraries data.
