摘要: We have performed analytical calculations and computer simulations to study the persistent current I in small isolated one-dimensional metal rings enclosing a magnetic flux \ensuremath{\varphi}. calculated as function of \ensuremath{\varphi}, ring circumference L, temperature T, chemical potential \ensuremath{\mu}, randomness W. find that decreases exponentially with ${W}^{2}$ for weak W exp(-L/\ensuremath{\xi}) strong W, where \ensuremath{\xi} denotes localization length, is periodic \ensuremath{\varphi} period ${\ensuremath{\varphi}}_{0}$=hc/e. For certain averaging procedures periodicity may change ${\ensuremath{\varphi}}_{0}$/2.
