摘要: RATIONALE: Psychotherapies for eating disorders (EDs) are routinely assessed using standardised patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). PROMs have been criticised their lack of patient centeredness and clinical utility. The Psychological Outcome Profiles (PSYCHLOPS) is an individualised PROM that allows patients to specify own outcomes. AIMS: (1) To validate the use PSYCHLOPS in ED treatment, (2) identify concerns beyond those measured by common PROMs. METHODS: Two hundred seventy-eight emerging adult patients, presenting with a first-episode (aged 16-25, illness duration <3 years) completed two (the EatingDisorder Examination Questionnaire [EDE-Q] Clinical Impairment Assessment [CIA]) at four time points across 12 months. Psychometrics were quantitatively against EDE-Q CIA. Content analysis unique identified PSYCHLOPS. RESULTS: had adequate good psychometric properties. A total 53.3% participants reported concern not addressed or CIA, most being depression/anxiety, academic problems, treatment disturbed sleep. DISCUSSION: can be complemented problems specific individual's context. As typically ambivalent about change, understanding vital building motivation change.
