摘要: Abstract Mycophenolic acid (MPA) is considered an immunosuppressive compound mainly because of its inhibitory effects on lymphocyte proliferation. Here we studied specifically the MPA ability dendritic cells (DCs) to activate T via indirect pathway and maturation function B-lineage cells. We demonstrated that DC cell-surface receptors, associated with antigen uptake processing presentation (CD83 CD205), were differentially downregulated in presence MPA, translating into a decreased alloantigens reduced stimulation cytokine secretion (interleukin (IL)-1Ra transforming growth factor (TGF)-α). Similarly, significantly inhibited B-cell differentiation memory plasma vitro TNF-α, IL-1Ra, IL-10. further for first time not only amount antibody was lowered but also total number antibody-producing reduced. Importantly, provide direct evidence HLA-specific affected using newly developed HLA antibody-specific enzyme-linked immunospot assay. Our data indicate additional pathways by which downregulates immune system. This turn may lead improved conditions allograft tolerance control rejection.
