摘要: The properties of amido black 10B (CI 20470), Coomassie blue R (CI 42660), and fast green FCF (CI 42053) as protein stains, along with a few comments on Coomassie blue G (CI 42655), are presented and dye impurities and their effects on protein-dye binding within gels are discussed. All three dyes produced metachromatic effects with some proteins.
