摘要: This paper argues that there are true synthetic modal claims and questions in philosophy to be interpreted not terms of logical necessity but necessity. I begin by sketching the debate about modality between empiricism phenome-nology. Logical taught us equate analyticity neces-sity. The now common view is analytic statements necessary narrow sense also a wider sense. argue against this we should distinguish more strictly.
