摘要: The starch synthase IIa (SSIIa) gene of rice (Oryza sativa L.) has been shown to be the alk that controls alkali disintegration grains, although effects naturally occurring mutant alleles on enzyme function have yet determined. We genotyped 60 cultivars for two single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in SSIIa, including one results an amino acid substitution. Incorporating data three other SNPs previously five haplotypes were found. analysed association these SSIIa with chain-length distribution amylopectin, gelatinisation temperature flour, spreading score, and enzyme. It was determined resulting changes close C-terminus most likely alter both terms activity granule association. This turn alters branch-length amylopectin properties starch.
