摘要: Objective: To determine the relationship of glycated albumin (GA) and recurrence stroke in patients on either dual or single antiplatelet therapy. Methods: The Clopidogrel High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events trial randomized minor ischemic TIA to therapy clopidogrel plus aspirin alone. A subgroup 3,044 consecutive baseline GA levels from 73 (64%) prespecified clinical sites was analyzed. were categorized into 2 groups based level 15.5%, cut point for development diabetes. primary outcome during 90-day follow-up. Cox proportional hazards models used assess interaction their risk recurrent stroke. Results: Significant found after adjustment age, sex, other conventional confounding factors ( p = 0.009). remained consistent further history diabetes 0.010). In lower level, occurred 5.5% clopidogrel–aspirin group, 12.7% group (adjusted hazard ratio [HR] 0.40; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.26–0.61; 0.103). Conclusions: could be a potential biomarker predict effects TIA.
