摘要: Relatively little is known about the outcomes of assessment as an information gathering mechanism well a therapeutic encounter in which service users explore and share their problems. Assessment child welfare now highly topical issue given new framework recently introduced to England currently matter consultation Wales. In contributing long running debate over ‘what works’ protection intervention, United Kingdom national voluntary care agency commissioned authors undertake three year study family provided by specialist referred centre South The paper sets out selected findings that reveal regimen encouraged partnership, enjoyed comparatively high level engagement particularly from male parents/carers, was perceived adult positive.
