Benzathine penicillin G in the treatment of syphilis.

摘要: Post-treatment observation of two years' duration has confirmed preliminary data which indicated that a single injection 2.5 million units benzathine penicillin G, in early infectious syphilis, produces results equal, if not superior, to those obtained with schedules employing 4.8 procaine and aluminium monostearate. Preliminary suggest 2.4 or G may be inadequate for the treatment asymptomatic neurosyphilis. Delayed reactions do appear induced by long-sustained blood-levels following administration G. Repeated injections PAM increase risk reaction treatment.
