Light and electron microscopic studies of the bone marrow and blood cells in chronic panmyelosis including polycythemia vera and primary thrombocythemia.

摘要: Both bone marrow and peripheral blood was investigated light electron microscopically in 3 cases with polycythemia vera, 2 primary thrombocythemia 1 case panmyelosis. In 5 the showed persistent increase cells of two or three hematopoietic systems. Giant thrombocytes were seen cases. Erythroblasts, granulocytic young forms, megakaryocytes often observed blood. Histologic examination prominent proliferation all every case. Cytological microscopical examinations revealed many mitotic figures, morphological abnormalities, unbalanced nucleocytoplasmic maturation various cells. These findings suggested that not simply reactive nature, but an idiopathic progressive process. It is considered these disorders myelosclerosis represent no separate entities must be unified as "chronic panmyelosis".
