摘要: Intrathecal baclofen therapy has become increasingly popular because of its effectiveness in treating spasticity pediatric patients. The device implanted into each patient is structurally similar. However, x-ray imaging can give the appearance missing or extraneous objects on near intrathecal device. composition material used making catheters transparent images. In addition, connection port between pump and catheter may resemble shape a needle. This led to confusion among emergency room personnel, unnecessary panic for other people involved. It important that medical professionals understand many new designs pump-connector system avoid further complications.
