摘要: Abstract Objective To identify the wideband absorbance (WBA) of reconstructed TM comparing with perforated and normal TM, to investigate efficacy WBA predict postoperative hearing outcome. Methods Ninety-eight adults (128 ears) 40 patients (40 who were diagnosed chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) underwent tympanoplasty type 1 enrolled. Pure tone audiometry measured before 6 12 months after surgery. Finally, only 29 in CSOM group completed all tests. Results Significant differences observed between ears, CSOM, ears at middle high frequencies. During follow-up, decreased low frequencies increased high. positive correlation frequency was change air-bone gaps (ABG) corresponding Conclusion significantly different from a significant improvement ABG. may be useful tool for monitoring sound energy ear.
