摘要: Cyclic voltammetry coupled with different spectroscopic (UV/Vis, fluorescence and Raman) techniques were used to study the interaction of mitoxantrone (MTX), an antitumor drug, calf thymus DNA in acetate buffer solutions (pH 4.5). The MTX could result a considerable decrease peak currents hypochromic bathochromic shift maximum adsorption bands as well emission quenching spectra. variations electrochemical spectral characteristics indicated bind by intercalative mode. This conclusion was reinforced Raman data. merely particular vibrations affected Raman, suggesting that only portion chromophore involved intercalation into duplex. These studies are valuable for better understanding detailed mode MTX-DNA interaction, which should be important deeper insight therapeutic efficacy design new targeted drug.
