摘要: Abstract Heat stress is an environmental factor that challenges livestock by disturbing animal homeostasis. Despite the broad detrimental effects of heat on reproductive function, germline and early preimplantation embryo are particularly prone. There extensive evidence elevated temperature reduces oocyte developmental competence through a series cellular molecular damages. Further research revealed respond to activating mechanisms such as shock response, unfolded protein response autophagy improve survival under shock. Such knowledge paved way for identification thermoprotective molecules alleviate heat-induced oxidative stress, organelle damage, apoptosis. Therefore, this review depicts deleterious competence, changes, outlines pro-survival explores competence.
