摘要: A Doppler echocardiographic study was performed to evaluate the hemodynamic performance of three 19 mm size currently used bileaflet valve prosthesis (St Jude Medical Hydrodinamic Plus, Sorin-Bicarbon and Carbomedic Reduced) implanted in aortic position. Methods: Patients, 30, with same profile receiving (ten for each type) were selected when body surface area (BSA) > 1.7 m 2 . echocardiography carried out at rest after exercise, 60 days surgery. Peak (Pg) mean (Mg) gradients across recorded: effective orifice (EOA), index (PI) calculated. Results: No significant differences observed between St Sorin Bicarbon as far peak gradient, exercise. difference (P < 0.05) demonstrated above mentioned parameters Carbomedics-R tested. This type showed a lower EOA PI higher Pg Mg gradient both Conclusion: The Hydrodymanic plus (Hp) valves had similar better trend compared patients large areas. shows ineffective use total
