摘要: Abstract To assess the origin and transformation of carbonaceous material in marine boundary layer Eastern Mediterranean, a total 111 size segregated aerosol samples have been collected using 12-stage Small-Deposit-area low-volume-Impactor (SDI) covering an almost 3 year period. The analyzed for organic (OC), elemental (EC), water-soluble carbon (WSOC) ionic components. Maxima OC, EC WSOC mass distributions were found accumulation mode (0.449 μm) with occasionally minor, secondary peak coarse (2.68 μm). OC concentrations during summertime due to photochemistry, while autumn, spring. In general, 2/3 are PM 1 fraction being mostly therefore highly oxidized great extent (∼70%). Using EC-tracer method, it was that 83 ± 11% 10 is secondary, percentage reaching ∼70% fraction, value very good accordance WSOC/OC ratio. Ammonium sulfate accounts 75.5 ± 21.7% 9.3 ± 1.9% fine respectively, exhibiting maximum also mode. It estimated that, on average, sea salt mineral dust account 33% 45% inorganic respectively.
